Very Rare Redware Collander, New England origin, early to mid 19th century, tapered pail-shaped form with rounded rim and incised bands with punctured drain holes. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze over a colorful olive and orange-spotted ground. Excellent form, color, and condition. Excellent condition with some small flakes to interior. H 5 1/4" ; D 7 1/2".
