One-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON / & CO. / GREENSBORO. / PA.," circac 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with brushed cobalt stripes and stenciled flourishes. Base chip on front. Other shallow base chips, which appear to be in-the-firing. Some wear to cobalt. Wear to interior of rim. H 9 1/2".
