Two-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO / PA," circa 1875, ovoid jar with flattened rim, decorated with freehand vining, a stenciled floral design, and stripes flanking the number "2" at base. Provenance: From a thirty-five year Western PA collection. 2 1/2" and 2" Y-shaped hairlines on reverse and side. Stone ping to front. H 10 1/4".
