Six-Gallon Open-Handled Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Ohio origin, circa 1860, ovoid jar with open handles (one missing), decorated with brushed cobalt flowers flanking the number "6" in cobalt. Additional impressed "6" below rim. Handle decorated with cobalt dashes. Missing one handle. Top-to-bottom crack, extending to underside. H 15 1/2".
