Unusual Squat-Shaped Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, small-sized cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded "wax sealer" rim. Front decorated with four wavy cobalt stripes. Provenance: Laurence Fish Estate, Trenton, NJ. Faint vertical line on reverse. H 6 1/2".
