Molded Redware Pitcher with Raised Figural Decoration, probably PA origin, third quarter 19th century, with rounded foot, upswept spout, and molded spurred handle, the pitcher featuring the raised design of a figure taking snuff, repeated four times around the body. Surface decorated with splashed manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Wear to raised areas. Shallow rim and spout chips. H 9".
