Two Pieces of Spongeware, American, late 19th century, a large-sized molded bowl, decorated with cobalt sponging over a whitish ground, paired with a lidded teapot with cobalt sponging over a yellowish ground. Bowl with 2" in-the-firing line on interior, visible on underside. Teapot with chips to spout, chip to flange on underside of lid, and light staining. H (of bowl) 6" ; Diameter (of bowl) 12 1/2".
