Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Floral Decoration, Stamped "OTTMAN BRO'S / & CO.. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1880, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a stylized slip-trailed floral design accented with dotted trails. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Spidering surface lines under one handle and on reverse. Numerous small rim chips. Salt drip on front. H 12 3/4".
