Albany-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Canning Jar, Stamped "WM. HARE / WILMINGTON, DEL," circa 1870, cylindrical jar with dramatically-flared rim, impressed on the shoulder with William Hare maker's mark. 2 3/4" contact mark on reverse. 1 1/4" contact mark on front. Chip and nick to rim. H 7 3/4".
