Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON / UTICA, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed floral design with large leaves and daisy-shaped blossoms. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Rim chips. Four cracks extending downward from rim. Crack on underside, extending partway up reverse of crock. Chip and hairline to handle. Several small base nicks. H 11 1/2".
