Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Floral Decoration, Stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON / UTICA, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and lug handles, decorated with a large brushed and slip-trailed cobalt design of a flowering plant with large leaves and orchid-like blossom. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Wide top-to-bottom crack on reverse. Rim chips. Handle chip. Light base wear on reverse. H 10 3/8".
