Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "CORTLAND," NY State origin, circa 1867-1869, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large cobalt flower blossom with detailed petals. Provenance: Lynn White Collection. Flakes to surface. 3 1/2" hairline at base, which extends to underside where it forms a tight X. Two rim chips. H 9".
