Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "SOMERSET. / POTTERSWORKS," Mass. origin, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt flower flanked by zig-zagging lines. Several chips on interior of rim. Two chips to end of one handle. Hairline and crazing to underside. H 13 3/4".
