Half-Gallon Stoneware Jug, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / MANUFACTURERS / GREENSBORO. / PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with short handle and tall spout, decorated with Hamilton & Jones stenciling in a banner-like form. Hairlines at base on reverse. Glazed-over handle chip. In-the-making nick to spout. Small stone ping to midsection. H 9 1/2".
