Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Butter Crock, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, low-walled cylindrical crock with heavily-banded shoulder, decorated completely around with a series of brushed cobalt tulips. Bottom edge is slightly warped on one side. 3 3/4" crack from rim. A few small rim chips. Stone ping to shoulder. H 4" ; Diameter 7 1/2".
