One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock, Stenciled "Chas. H. Torsch & Co. / Baltimore, MD, attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, low-walled cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with Torsch advertising and a stenciled "1 1/2". Unusual form. Minor 2 1/4" Y-shaped line on underside, which does not extend through to the interior. H 6 1/4" ; Diameter 11".
