Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Heavy Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1850, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and squared rim, cobalt decorated with circumferential vines bearing fan-shaped flowers. 4 3/4" hairline on underside, extending up base 1 3/4". 2 3/4" hairline from rim. Small rim chips. Small glazed-over base chip. H 7 3/8".
