Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "W.H. LEHEW & CO. / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on both sides with a horizontal design of three tulips connected at the stem. Handle chip. Water glass staining to surface. Rim chip. Rim slumped during firing. H 14".
