One-and-a-Half-Gallon Glazed Redware Bean Pot, Stamped "J. EBERLY & CO. / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1890, ovoid pot with tall collar and applied handle, covered in a rust-colored glaze on the exterior and cream-colored slip on the interior. Impressed with J. Eberly & Co. maker's mark on shoulder. Provenance: From a thirty-year Virginia collection. Lacking lid. Small chips and areas of wear along edge of rim. H 9".
