One-Gallon Stoneware Butter Crock with Lid, Haddonfield, NJ origin, circa 1880, cylindrical form with rounded rim and tooled shoulder, decorated with a series of brushed cobalt leaf-like designs around the midsection. Includes original Albany slip glazed lid. Crock with two 3 1/2" cracks from rim. Lid is broken into two and reglued and has an edge chip. H 6" ; Diameter 9".
