Five-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, attributed to van Schoick and Dunn, Middletown Point, NJ, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with flattened rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt double-stemmed flower under a cobalt "5." A 5 1/2" crack on underside, extending 8" up front of crock. 2 1/2" shallow flake off rim on reverse. H 11".
