Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "CORTLAND," New York State origin, circa 1867-69, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a two brushed cobalt tulips extending from looping slip-trailed stems. Rim chip on reverse. H 10 3/4".
