Rare Glazed Redware Dish with Copper Slip Decoration, North Carolina or PA origin, early to mid 19th century, wheel-thrown dish decorated with trails of green copper slip. Center with green slip dot. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze over a light orange ground. Excellent color. Provenance: Found in an auction box lot in Bucks County, PA several years ago. 9" hairline from rim. Otherwise mint condition. Diameter 12 1/2".
