Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, early 19th century, squat-shaped, highly ovoid jug with rounded foot, tooled neck, and ribbed strap handle, covered in a lead glaze. Attractive salmon-colored surface. 2" chipped area to base. Other minor base chips. H 8 1/4".
