Rare Small-Sized Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar with Open Handles, South Carolina origin, 19th century, ovoid jar with flared rim and small open handles at the shoulder, covered in a pale greenish alkaline glaze. Shoulder has a few rutile drips. Desirable size and form. Small rim chips. H 10".
