Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "I. SEYMOUR / TROY . FACTORY," New York State origin, circa 1830, ovoid jar with tall, slightly flared collar and applied lug handles, decorated with brushed cobalt drooping flower design. Rim chips. Small base chips. Crazing near base on reverse. 3 1/2" Y-shaped horizontal hairline at below rim on front. Two short hairlines extending up from base on reverse. H 11 1/2".
