Ovoid Stoneware Jug with Incised Floral Decoration, New York State origin, circa 1825, ovoid jug with tooled spout and applied strap handle, decorated with an incised design of two tulips extending from a leafy stem, having heavy detail to petals. Decoration and handle terminals brushed over in cobalt slip. Restoration to 2 1/2" x 5/8" section of handle. Minor base chips. H 12 1/4".
