One-Gallon Open-Handled Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Decoration, NY State origin, early 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and open loop handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt floral design on one side and a cobalt chain or dotted stripe design on the reverse. 2 1/2" line from rim. Stone ping to shoulder. Minor base chips. Staining to surface. H 9".
