Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Mid-Atlantic origin, circa 1870, two cylindrical jars with rounded shoulders and squared rims, decorated with brushed cobalt swag decorations around the shoulder. Smaller jar with heavy chipping to rim and a 2" line on underside, extending 3 1/2" up base of jar. Larger jar with rim chips and an 8" crack on side, extending 2" onto underside. H (of smaller jar) 9 1/4".
