Large-Sized Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Tree Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1825, highly ovoid pitcher with narrow collar, and ribbed handle, decorated with a stylized brushed tree design on the front. Excellent size and form. As-made condition with a contact mark below decoration and on reverse. H 13 5/8".
