Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1820, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt leaf design on both sides and leaf-like brushwork under one handle. 2 1/2" loss to rim, possibly in-the-firing. Chipping to base. H 11".
