Scarce Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Bottle, Stamped "P. PFANNENBECKER JR," Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1870, cylindrical bottle with tapered neck and blob top, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt X twice on the shoulder and B twice on the body. Several spout chips. Some fry to cobalt. Post-firing base chip and glazed-over base chip. 1 1/2" faint horizontal line near base. H 11".
