Six-Gallon Stoneware Jug Cooler with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO.," Fort Edward, NY origin, circa 1880, large-sized, cylindrical jug with open handles, circular bung hole at base, and a large slip-trailed leaf decoration. One handle professionally restored. Chips and a few short lines in bung hole. Crazing to base. 2" in-the-firing spider line on reverse. Inverted U-shaped line in spout. H 20".
