Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "JOHN BURGER / ROCHESTER," New York State origin, circa 1850, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder, tall spout, and applied handle, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt flowering plant design, the blossom detailed with alternating cross-hatched and striped petals. Small chip and curved line in spout. H 14 3/4".
