Rare Redware Stamp, probably PA orgin, 19th century, rectangular slab with blocks of detailed designs, featuring a lyre, bird, rose, flower basket, birds with a house, and a deer. Rare form. For a similar example in the Winterthur collection, see Lasansky's Central Pennsylvania Redware Pottery, p. 32. Excellent condition with a shallow edge chip. Length 8 1/2" ; W 5 7/8".
