Extremely Rare Glazed Redware Frog Whistle, PA origin, 19th century, hand-modeled whistle in the form of frog with bulging eyes, open mouth, and incised detail to feet and nostrils. Lead and copper glazed body with manganese highlights to eyes. Exceptional folk art form. Near mint condition with minor wear. Length 4 1/2".
