Extremely Rare Albany Slip Glazed Redware Owl Whistle, American, 19th century, wheel-thrown whistle in the form of an owl with pinched body and hand-modeled head detailed with large ear-like tufts, circular eyes, and pointed beak. Surface covered in a brown Albany slip glaze. Highly unusual form. Mint condition. H 3 6/8".
