Small-Sized Stoneware Jug with Rust Decoration, Stamped "BOSTON," attributed to Frederick Carpenter, Charlestown, Massachusetts origin, early 19th century, ovoid jug with tooled spout and rounded handle, decorated with a rust glaze on the upper portion. Small base chips. Stone pings in surface. 1/2" stone blow-out on reverse at base. A few spots of wear to spout. H 8 1/2".
