Glazed Redware Double-Handled Vase, Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery Co., PA, late 19th century, ovoid vase with flared rim, ribbed strap handles, and coggled decoration to rim and shoulder. Decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Attractive green, orange, and brown coloration. In-the-firing, glazed-over cracks extending up from base 5". Base chip. Chip to one handle and tiny nick to opposite handle. Very minor wear to rim. H 11".
