Two Pieces of Salt-Glazed Stoneware, American, 19th century, a cobalt-decorated lid, Northeastern U.S. origin, and a three-gallon crock with slip-trailed cobalt "3" and "bee stinger" decoration. Crock with 5" hairline on underside, continuing 5 1/2" up side of crock, chips to one handle, and two small nicks to opposite handle. Lid with a few rim chips and a reglued 1 1/2" chip on edge with some slivers of clay missing. H (of crock) 10"; Diameter (of lid) 9 1/4".
