Unusual Stoneware Lid with Profuse Cobalt Decoration, possibly Henry H. Remmey or Richard Remmey, third quarter 19th century, decorated completely around the edge with brushed cobalt swags as well as V-shaped and X-shaped brushwork on the interior. A fine example of a stoneware lid. Two spout chips. 3 1/2" chipped section to flange on underside. Diameter 10 1/2".
