Rare Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Chamberpot, Central PA origin, circa 1875, ovoid chamberpot with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and applied strap handle, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip with dotted interior. A highly unusual form in American decorated stoneware. Restoration to rim chips. Additional small rim chip. 1 1/2" shallow base flake along with a few other base chips. H 6 1/2" ; Diameter (at opening) 9 1/2".
