Glazed Redware Spaniel Bank, attributed to George Wagner, Carbon Co., PA, circa 1860, molded figure of a seated spaniel with impressed and incised detail to face, paws, and locket, the surface decorated with green and brown over a yellowish ground and covered in a clear lead glaze. Slot in dog's back. Spaniel is broken and restored with much of surface having been repainted and reglazed. Areas of glaze loss. Restoration to base. H 6".
