Lead-Glazed Redware Canning Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and covered rim, its surface covered in clear lead glaze over a colorful yellowish-orange ground. Some staining to surface. Chips and wear to rim. Two small in-the-firing stone pings to rim and shoulder area. Two base nicks. H 7 1/2".
