Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONE WARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1875, straight-sided crock with applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of a long-tailed bird perched on a leaf. Broken into pieces and reglued, with some professionally filled spots on body, rim, and handle. Chips to interior of rim. H 9 1/4".
