Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "ADAM CAIRE / PO'KEEPSIE N.Y," circa 1885, straight-sided crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed leaf design. Significant restoration to underside and cracks at base on reverse, which extend around right side of crock. Rim chips. H 10 5/8".
