Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird in Wreath Decoration, attributed to J. & E. Norton, Bennington, VT, circa 1870, large-sized jug decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt bird on a branch within a large wreath. As-made condition with a small stone ping to shoulder and some fry to wreath. H 16 3/4".
