Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "H. MYERS," Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1825, semi-ovoid jar with rounded foot, tab handles, and tall, slightly flared collar. Decorated on the front and back with a series of bright cobalt swags. Impressed with H. MYERS maker's mark under one handle. Made at the pottery of merchant, Henry Myers, under the management of Henry Remmey, Sr. Unusual tall-collared form. Handle chip, base chip, and 3/4" line in rim. H 8".
