Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Spittoon, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1870, with rounded foot and openings at the center and shoulder, decorated completely around with five brushed cobalt flowers, and around the opening with petal-like brushwork. Professional restoration to vertical crack on side. Hairline on underside. A few base chips and some tiny nicks to molding near base. H 4" ; Diameter 8 1/8".
