Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, probably PA origin, circa 1870, semi-ovoid jar with flattened rim, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed cobalt flowering plant design. Slip-trailed "2" to right of decoration. Y-shaped line on reverse, which does not go through to interior and likely occurred during the firing. Two chips on underside. H 12".
